The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Unit and Tri-Town Fire Department Chief investigated a structure fire on 3-14-2011 that occurred at a garage on the property at 645 Rooks Road in Ulysses Township, Potter County.

The structure and all contents owned by William D. Tweedie and Ralph S. Tweedie of Rooks Road, Genesee, PA, sustained extensive damage from the fire and the collapse of the structure.

Estimated damages exceed $75,000. There were no injuries.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with any information can contact PSP Emporium at 814-486-3321. Trooper David A. Surra is the investigator

Troopers issued a citation for Harassment after investigating a verbal argument that turned physical at 27 Lanninger Creek Road in Roulette Township last Saturday at 10:00 pm.

David Peer, 60, of Olean, NY, is accused of grabbing and pushing a known 54 year old female victim causing bruises on her arm. He will answer the charge in District Court 55-4-01

The incident took place between 3-11 and 3-14 on Bunnell Road in Bingham Township and the victim is Bingham Township.

Anyone with any information in this incident is asked to contact PSP Coudersport at 814-274-8690. Trooper Kocher is the investigator.

Damascus Citizens an environmental group, has made us aware of a letter from the Federal EPA to Pennsylvania DEP informing them that they are stepping in to use their authority to monitor and regulate drilling wastewater that might affect drinking water in Pennsylvania.

Could you please post on your site, that I am missing my 2 dogs. 1 is a Rotweiller(Diesel) and the other is a Pug(Puggy), The rotweiller slipped his collar and they both took off.

I have been searching with no luck. Neither dog is aggressive.If anyone see’s them and whistles, usually Diesel will come.

We live in Clara and they took off around 3:00. I can be reached at 698-2488, thanks for your help.
